Taking the first step whether it is to engage in therapy or coaching can be a little daunting. But let me reassure you that we all experience a disruption in harmony in life from time to time. Sometimes we can work through troubling emotions or find a new direction on our own but then sometimes we get stuck, leaving us feeling disconnected from our relationships and our lives.
I am continually in awe of the healing power of the supportive relationship. It is through relationships that we are shown a reflection of ourselves. Change takes place when we experience grace through awareness of self, challenging old beliefs, and learning new ways of being.
Generally, people find themselves challenged with common issues and capable of finding their own answers to whatever challenges they face. Sometimes however, the solution or approach is not quite working and it is helpful to get objective input. Sometimes we just need a fresh perspective, someone to talk to that will not judge or criticize what we think or feel.
In my practice, I embrace a belief that we come into this existence with an agreement to work out and work through relationships often seen as challenges in this life. Our unique personality patterns known as archetypes provide a foundation for interaction with the world. Archetypal Symbolism is combining rational thought with soul work. It is one way we organize and bring meaning to our lives. I also embrace the Chakra System as it is thought to vitalize the physical body and to be associated with interactions of a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual nature. These energy centers map out a path for wholeness and spiritual transformation.
I also embrace creativity as a portal to discovery of our authenticity. The creative expression comes from the heart and connects us to the soul and renews our spirit. It takes courage to go beyond everyday routines to reach into our intuitive self and create. So healing whether from emotional wounds or making courageous choices occurs when we experience grace through self-awareness. My task and privilege is to assist you in this process.
I completed The Daring Way™ National Training 2015. I am currently a Facilitator-Candidate and will be offering individual and group sessions that integrate this process in the near future.
